    Sixteen years ago Rui Neto’s life was torn asunder when the most recent Winnowing sought out and killed Lorebloods around the world. During the Winnowing Rui was captured, tortured, and treated cruelly by the Winnowers. Escaping captivity, Rui has spent the last sixteen years planning his revenge. Growing in strength and power Rui is prepared to do whatever it takes to ensure his plan commences unhindered. Currently, he is tracking the pieces of the Lifestone hoping to thwart any effort to reassemble them.
